Roland works in direct collaboration with the regional medical director of HCA, Dr. Alain D. Folefack. He also holds a position at one of the most prestigious psychiatric outpatient clinic in the metroplex, collaborating with many physicians to providing the best treatment plan to his patients.

Roland is first and foremost a chemist by training with a wealth of knowledge in DNA purification of medical devices. He is also a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner from UTA. As a member of many professional organizations, he has an unquenchable thirst of learning and a constant quest for the newest treatment modality. Above all, he is passionate by the practice of psychiatry and is fully devoted to the well-being of his patients.

Depression

Depression is a medical condition with extreme feelings of sadness and emptiness. When suffering from depression, people may lose interest in activities they once enjoyed, and experience a constant feeling of hopelessness and worthlessness. It may be triggered by certain events or occur along with other illnesses. It can interfere with work, sleep, appetite and interpersonal relationships. The good news it that, depression is treatable.

GAD is a chronic condition, and not merely the normal stress and anxiety we experience about upcoming events such as a test or a job interview. This is a psychiatric condition triggered by a traumatic event during which great physical harm occurs or is threatened. The feelings of helplessness may subside overtime in some individuals than others. Symptoms may appear later, last longer and be much more, none of which is under the individual's control.
